In the upcoming months, the Department of Anaesthesiology, Resuscitation and Intensive Medicine will undergo a total reconstruction which will provide facilities to doctors and support for highly specialized intensive and resuscitation care for patients from the Pilsen Region. The last construction modifications were carried out in the premises of the department sixteen years ago. The currently implemented construction works comprise complete demolition, total reconstruction and especially equipping the rooms by relevant air conditioning systems, electrical installations and medical technologies for a top workplace with 11 beds. Builders have to cope with defined working hours for the construction works and strict noise and dust limits due to implementation under full operation of the surrounding departments. The department in 3rd aboveground storey is adjacent to laboratories and neurology department of the teaching hospital (with patients after neurological surgeries).
