The Myslbek Building is located in the heart of Prague and completes the vacant space between the streets Na Příkopě and Ovocný trh (Fruit Market). The construction consists of four underground and six above ground floors.

Description: | The rough construction, prevailingly monolithic reinforced concrete construction, is completed with individual prefabricated elements. The whole rough construction consists of 27,000 m3 of concrete and 2,500 tones of steel. It combines both wall and columnar construction, the layout of the underground floors varies significantly from the layout of the above ground floors. The foundation slab is one meter thick and the foundation conditions of the building can be described as tricky. The excavation of the foundation pit of 18 meters in depth required the construction of protective shoring made of 80 cm thick diaphragm walls. |
