| Description: | The necessary investment in implementation of the storage of liquefied gases such as safety sprays, hydrant water distributions etc. increased the total cost and a demanding character of the construction. The railway yard was extended by up to three tracks in the maximum length of 600 metres. The base course was constructed for the maximum carrying capacity as per ČSN standard. The railway yard is equipped with automatic fire-fighting system; individual fire-fighting monitors can be controlled from a single place of the control room by remote control. The operation is continuously monitored through the cameras with laser detectors for both gas and entry of unauthorised persons. |
