Due to the fact that the validity of the Environmental Protection Certificate expires on February 28th, 2006, it is necessary to perform a recertification of the EMS in HOCHTIEF VSB a.s. in accordance to the new standard ČSN EN ISO 14001:2005. The discussions with the certifying body STAVCERT Prague preliminarily determined this recertification for the second week of February 2006.

Pursuant to the requirements of the standard and due to the development in the sphere of environmental protection in HOCHTIEF VSB a.s., the Executive Board of the company convened on November 23rd, 2005 reviewed the current document Environmental Protection Policy and approved its revision and change of its name to Environmental Policy.
