Tomáš Bílek (borne 1962) graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Czech Technical University and has experience from production and managerial functions in construction and developer organizations. In 1988 – 2001 he worked for the company Metrostav, where he held various positions, including functions in the top management. From 2001 until 2005 he was an executive in the developer and design and managerial company Arch – Invest, s.r.o.
The joint-stock company HOCHTIEF VSB is part of the German supranational concern HOCHTIEF since 1999. Currently it employs approximately 1800 employees and in 2004 reached the revenues of 6 bil. CZK.
HOCHTIEF VSB a.s. is active in all segments of the construction industry, executing projects all over the Czech Republic. Company’s important referential projects include the National Integrated Air Traffic Control Center in Jeneč near Prague, which was finalized in May and recently opened Finger C of the Terminal North 2 on Prague’s Ruzyně Airport.
