26.1.2006 - Construction works preparation on a part of the Prague ring road was commenced by contract signing
A part of the external Prague ring road between Slivenec and Lahovice has a specific contractor since September 9th of the last year. This contractor consists of a joint-venture of companies STRABAG a.s. (34 % share in the joint-venture), HOCHTIEF Construction AG (33 % share in the joint-venture) and Max Bögl a Josef Krýsl, kom. spol. (33 % share in the joint-venture). The investor of the project is Ředitelství silnic a dálnic ČR (Highway and Motorway Directorate). This mentioned part will be one of the sections in the prepared south-western Prague ring road between highways D1 and D5.
24.1.2006 - Petřín will become more beautiful under our hands
Even if the path and adjacent stairs at the Lobkowitz Garden are not marked in the cadastral or technical maps of the protected area of the Petřín public park, HOCHTIEF VSB will renovate them together with the boundary wall. The place did not comply with safety standards anymore, and therefore the developer - Municipality of the Capital City of Prague – has decided to upgrade this area. Petřín is a place which is visited quite often, and it will surely benefit from another area of historical interest.
23.1.2006 - Apartments in Prague 8 - Bohnice are waiting for their new owners
Division 8 has commenced the construction of a new five-storey building in December 2004. At the present time the construction is finalized and from February this year the apartments will prepared for new owners.
20.1.2006 - Trade Unions are satisfied
Supplement no. 1 to the Collective Agreement of HOCHTIEF VSB, which is determining the wage tariffs for 2006 was signed on January 18th. Due to the fact that the Government of the Czech Republic decided to increase the minimal wage for 2006 in two turns, the contents of the said supplement correspond to this decision. The representatives of the Trade Unions and the representatives of HOCHTIEF VSB agreed on minimal tariffs for the first term (valid from January 1st, 2006) and also for the second term (valid from July 1st, 2006). The interannual growth of minimal tariffs was agreed to 6.6%.
3.1.2006 - Reconstruction of Hangar B is two months ahead of the schedule
At the Airport Prague Ruzyně – Terminal South, Hangar B is currently undergoing reconstruction for the needs of the company ČSA. The investor is ČSA and HOCHTIEF VSB realizes this order through its construction division 8.
