UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTIONS
Specialization in driven and cut and cover underground constructions is a core technology of the division which has a team of experienced engineers and has the necessary production capacity. The division has the opportunity to use in-house professional and design teams of the HOCHTIEF group to optimize the projects according to the latest technological developments in the field and to efficient and quick solving of technical challenges during the preparation and implementation of a project. By involvement of the HOCHTIEF group the division gains access to the state-of-the-art technical equipment for carrying out underground constructions by classical sequential method as well as mechanical driving with full profile tunnelling machines. The division has strengthened and widened its experience on a number of significant and technically challenging tunnelling projects, which are the pride of many roads, highways or railways.
BRIDGES
Bridge constructions are one of the pillars of our expertise. Long tradition and rich experience enable us to implement supplies and remediation of bridge structures from the smallest bridges to the biggest highway bridges. Our portfolio includes fixed and movable, steel and reinforced concrete, vertical lift and on fixed centering, road and rail bridges. Cooperation with our parent company and top design offices enables us to design structural designs, material for the bridge structures and to optimize the method of construction. Meeting all requirements on the final quality of the work, work safety and environmental protection is for us a matter of course.
ROADS, HIGHWAYS AND RAILWAYS
This segment is already reflected in the name of our division. Large transport engineering projects that we can implement independently or in cooperation with our partners represent traffic arteries interlacing the whole country. We bring to the implementation of projects qualification, expertise and experience from around the world, which are given to us by our parent company HOCHTIEF AG. Together with it, we are respected partner in the implementation of the largest and most demanding projects. We use the experience of the best professionals that are at our division and at the HOCHTIEF group available. LANDFILLS AND ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION
Construction works change the world around us. They change the appearance and character of the cities, transform the character of the surrounding landscape and affect the quality of life. Division Traffic Infrastructure is aware of the impact of its activities on the environment. Therefore, one of its key sectors is the implementation of contracts that help to improve the environment. Through its highly experienced and on a number of projects tried and tested capacities the division provides comprehensive implementation of contracts of ecological character that are based mostly on remedy of contamination by petroleum hydrocarbons (fuels, oils), chlorinated hydrocarbons (degreasers), toxic metals, poly aromatic hydrocarbons and other chemical and radioactive substances. In the remedial works it often applies biodegradation technologies. In the area of landfills, the division provides all earthworks, insulation of landfill bodies and their subsequent remediation.
EARTH WORKS
The implementation of each construction project goes through several phases. These may vary, but almost always the project is started by earth works. Quality preparation of the area is crucial for successful implementation of the project. Division Traffic Infrastructure performs all earth works for buildings, traffic, engineering and underground constructions and has machine fleet for digging excavations, landscaping, compaction, demolition, fills and embankments and of course for transport too. All machines are operated by experienced machinists with reliable facilities for maintenance and repairs. For our clients, we are always able to propose optimal machine set for the given type and size of the structure.
WATER MANAGEMENT CONSTRUCTIONS
The company HOCHTIEF CZ has a long tradition in the field of water management constructions because the company´s root goes back to the 50s of the last century to the company Vodní stavby n.p. Division Traffic Infrastructure has rich know-how and experience which it applies to projects in the water management sector. The division is involved in the construction of hydraulic structures, river engineering, regulation of channels, weirs, earth dams, reinforced concrete dams and dry polders. It specializes in construction of flood control measures and it has also been involved in removal of damages caused by floods in the recent years.
